John Knowles and Jonathan Olson, playing “Thank You Dear Jesus” on the back of the Creative Electric Studios houseboat on the mighty Mississippi.

The boat was stationed on the docks behind The Sample Room during Art-a-Whirl, and housed a strange and wonderful installation called “Infinite Regress” — a sort of carnival fun-house meets The X-Files meets Deliverance experience. I was there with some friends recording for the Northeast Audio Walking Tour, as The Sample Room (formerly the Polish Palace, and before that a tasting room for the Grain Belt Brewery) is on our tour.
