Daft Punk - “Superheroes”

Since the first time I encountered this song I’ve been unable to listen to it without hearing “dolphins in the air” repeated over and over again. I sort of always knew I had the wrong words, but I’d been enjoying the flying dolphin image so much I didn’t want to ruin it.

Today I finally gave in and verified the actual phrase as “somethin’s in the air,” sampled from Barry Manilow’s “Who’s Been Sleeping In My Bed.” I think I’ll just take the liberty of assuming that “somethin’” is referring to dolphins. Possibly even pink dolphins.
