This is where I collect things. Maybe you'd also be interested in reading a few things that I've written, or viewing some of my photos, or even some of my videos. If you're feeling especially voyeuristic, you might even want to look through my links, listening habits, and social connections.

Check the above exquisite corpse drawn at last month’s rent party at the West Bank Social Center. We had the projector running all night, and the people just kept on drawin’.
This Friday we’re throwing our September rent party, and trading the overhead projector for team of typists. You can come, dance, dictate a letter to your mom, and then top it off with a delicious grilled cheese sandwich.
One catch though: if you plan on coming this month, you’re gonna have to RSVP. I know, it’s sort of annoying, but it will hopefully reduce headaches and make it more fun for everyone.
RSVP for this Friday’s rent party!

Check out Heavy Table’s excellent coverage of Thursday night’s 100-Course Meal! Includes some great photos and a complete list of each course, with ratings.
Sitting through 101 courses, however small, has a curious effect on the diner. Each individual component — even if it’s as ordinary as a dollop of yogurt or a piece of spinach — is tasted on its own merits, discussed, evaluated, considered. The 101-Course Meal was, as the organizers explained, really a deconstruction of a 7-course meal; assemble the various components, and you might see something resembling a traditional (if lavish) dinner..

Yuken Teruya creates beautiful forests out of toilet paper rolls, fast food paper bags, and other everyday objects.
Inspiration for the set we’ll be building for this Saturday’s BIOPHILIA dancing party. Feeling crafty? Here’s what we’ll be up to:
- Hanging sheets and projectors
- Crafting and installing a flock of migrating paper birds across the ceiling
- Making cardboard animals, trees, & foliage
- Brainstorming some clever lighting for the space
- Anything else!?
Stop by the WBSC on Friday night to help out! (Libations provided.) And of course, RSVP for BIOPHILIA this Saturday. More details to come.

Guys, this won’t do. Help fill these shelves this Wednesday night at the WBSC Library-Building Party (starts at 7:30). A book (or two) gets you in. Stay for a bunch of arty book activities— including a photo-documented project inspired by Nina Katchadourian— and readings by Paul Dickinson and Mary Mack.

Yesterday evening, some fine Twin Cities folks inaugurated what promises to be a fine, fine Art space. Though I could not join them in the flesh for their first event, I joined them in Spirit. Congratulations, West Bank Social Center.
Ha, this is great. Thanks Michael!
